Privacy Policy
EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 10, 2026
COREbuild is a construction project management service operated by Core Office LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy explains what information we collect when you use COREbuild, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It is the only privacy policy that applies to COREbuild.
MOBILE INFORMATION AND TEXT MESSAGES
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not share, sell, rent, or provide your mobile phone number or your SMS consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Text messages are optional. We send them only to people who have expressly opted in, and you can stop them at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help. Message frequency is 5–10 messages per week. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Consent to receive text messages is never a condition of creating an account, of purchasing anything, or of using any part of COREbuild. Full details are in section 5.
1.Who we are and what this covers
COREbuild is used by residential construction companies (“builders”) to run their projects. A builder invites the people involved in a project — its own staff, the homeowner, designers and architects, on-site supervisors, and subcontractors — and each of them receives an account.
This policy covers the COREbuild web application at www.corebuildapp.com, our email and text-message notifications, and the public project pages a builder may choose to share. It does not cover a builder’s own website, or any third-party site we link to.
2.Your builder controls their project data
For the project records a builder stores in COREbuild — schedules, specifications, cost estimates, draw requests, documents, daily logs, photos, and messages — the builder decides what is collected, who may see it, and how long it is kept. We process that information on the builder’s instructions in order to provide the service.
If you were invited to COREbuild by a builder and you want project data corrected or removed, contact that builder first; they can act directly. We will help them, and we will respond to you ourselves where the law requires it.
We act on our own behalf for the information we need to run COREbuild as a business — account credentials, billing records, security logs, and product usage.
3.Information we collect
Account information
Your name, email address, mobile phone number, role, the company you belong to, and your profile photo if you add one. Your email address and password are handled by our identity provider; we never see or store your password.
Mobile phone number and messaging consent
If you choose to receive text messages, we store your mobile number, a record that you opted in, when and how you did so, and any later request to stop. We keep this record to prove your consent was obtained properly and to honor your opt-out.
Project content
Everything you and your project team enter or upload: schedules and tasks, specifications and selections, checklists, punch lists, cost estimates and draw requests, subcontractor and trade records, daily logs, permits, documents, drawings, and photographs.
Messages and notifications
Messages you send inside COREbuild, along with delivery records for the emails, push notifications, and text messages we send you — including whether a message was delivered, bounced, or failed.
Usage and device information
Pages viewed, features used, approximate time of use, browser and device type, operating system, and IP address. We also keep security and audit logs recording actions taken on a project and who took them.
Support communications
Messages you send us, and any issue reports you file from inside the application.
We do not ask for, and ask that you do not upload, government identification numbers, payment card numbers, health information, or other sensitive categories of personal information. COREbuild is not designed to hold them.
4.How we use information
To provide COREbuild: create and secure your account, show you the projects you have access to, and keep your data isolated from other companies.
To communicate with you about your projects: schedule changes, decisions awaiting your approval, released draw requests, messages that mention you, and other activity you have asked to hear about.
To operate optional automated features, such as schedule-health analysis, which review project data and surface risks to your team.
To keep the service safe: detect and investigate abuse, fraud, and security incidents, and maintain audit records of who did what.
To support you when you contact us, and to fix problems you report.
To understand how COREbuild is used so we can improve it.
To meet legal, tax, and regulatory obligations, and to establish or defend legal claims.
To administer billing once paid subscriptions begin.
We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, and we do not run third-party advertising in COREbuild.
5.Text message (SMS) program
WHAT THE PROGRAM IS
COREbuild offers an optional text-message program for time-sensitive project activity. It is available to everyone who uses COREbuild: a builder’s own staff, homeowners, designers and architects, on-site supervisors, and subcontractors. Messages are about the projects you are already part of — for example a decision or approval that is now due, a released draw request, an urgent schedule change, a bid invitation or deadline, or a one-time code confirming your phone number. They are operational messages, not marketing.
HOW YOU OPT IN
You opt in yourself, from your notification settings in COREbuild, by entering your mobile number and actively checking a consent box that is never pre-selected, then confirming the number with a code we text you. Where a builder collects your consent verbally or on paper, that consent is recorded against your account in the same way.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of creating an account, of buying anything, or of using any other part of COREbuild. Your consent to text messages is separate from your acceptance of these documents: agreeing to our Terms and Conditions or to this Privacy Policy does not opt you in.
FREQUENCY AND COST
Message frequency is 5–10 messages per week, depending on how active your projects are. Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier, not Core Office LLC, sets those rates, and they depend on your own plan.
GETTING HELP AND OPTING OUT
Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or email privacy@corebuildapp.com. Reply STOP to cancel at any time; we will send one confirmation message and then stop texting that number. You can also turn text messages off in your notification settings. Opting out of text messages does not close your account or stop email and in-app notifications, which you control separately.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
HOW WE TREAT YOUR MOBILE INFORMATION
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not share, sell, rent, or provide your mobile phone number or your SMS consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We share your mobile number only with the telecommunications providers and mobile carriers that are required to transmit a message you asked to receive, and they may use it only for that delivery. We do not disclose mobile numbers or SMS consent records to data brokers, lead generators, or advertising networks under any circumstances.
6.How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only in the situations below.
Within your project
With the other people your builder has given access to that project, according to the role and visibility settings the builder configures. Builders control what a homeowner, a subcontractor, or the public can see.
Service providers who run COREbuild for us
We use vendors in the following categories, each acting on our instructions and permitted to use your information only to provide their service to us: identity and authentication; cloud application hosting; managed database; file storage and content delivery; email delivery; text-message delivery and mobile carriers; background job processing; error monitoring and product analytics; and providers of the artificial-intelligence models behind our optional automated features. We require each of them by contract to protect your information and prohibit them from using it for their own purposes.
Publicly, when your builder chooses
A builder can publish a limited set of project documents at a public link. Only what the builder marks as public appears there.
Legal and safety
When we are legally required to, or where we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to investigate fraud or a security incident, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights or safety of any person.
Business transfers
If Core Office LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that transaction. This policy continues to apply to it, and we will notify you of any change in control that affects your information.
Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent records are excluded from every marketing or promotional use in every one of the situations above.
7.Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and browser storage that are necessary to run the service: keeping you signed in, remembering your preferences and layout choices, and protecting against fraudulent sign-ins. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels for advertising.
Blocking cookies in your browser will sign you out and prevent COREbuild from working.
8.How long we keep information
We keep project content for as long as the builder’s account is active, and afterward for the period the builder has agreed with us, so that records of a completed build remain available to them. Construction records often need to be retained for years after substantial completion.
We keep account information for as long as you have an account, and security, audit, and message-delivery logs for a limited period after that. We retain SMS consent and opt-out records for as long as telecommunications rules require us to be able to demonstrate them — keeping your opt-out is the only way we can be certain not to text you again.
9.How we protect information
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is controlled by role, and every company’s data is isolated from every other company’s. We log administrative and project actions, restrict staff access to what is needed to operate and support the service, and require strong authentication.
No service can promise perfect security. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you and any affected builder as the law requires.
10.Your choices and your rights
Text messages. Reply STOP to any message, or turn them off in your notification settings.
Email and push notifications. Adjust them in your notification settings, or use the unsubscribe link in a notification email. We will still send essential messages about your account and security.
Access, correction, and deletion. You can view and edit your profile at any time. For project data, contact your builder. To reach us directly, email privacy@corebuildapp.com.
State privacy rights. Depending on where you live — including under the Colorado Privacy Act and comparable laws in other states — you may have the right to know what personal information we hold, to obtain a copy, to correct or delete it, and to appeal a decision we make on such a request. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of on those grounds. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any right.
Email privacy@corebuildapp.com to make a request. We may need to verify your identity, and we will respond within the time the applicable law allows. If we deny a request, you may reply to appeal it and we will review the decision.
11.Children
COREbuild is a business tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, email privacy@corebuildapp.com and we will delete it.
12.Where we operate
We are based in the United States and store and process information there. If you use COREbuild from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live.
13.Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top, and for material changes we will notify account holders by email or in the application before the change takes effect. We will not reduce the protections that apply to mobile information and SMS consent described in section 5 without your consent.
